MadgeTech’s Carcass Temperature Data Logger measures and records data from up to 8 thermocouple channels allowing the user to verify and validate post-production meat pasteurization cycles. The CTL2000 aids in reducing pathogens, and helps to ensure post-slaughter pasteurization process parameters are met. The CTL2000 has a black anodized aluminum enclosure with a stainless steel hook allowing the device to be hung directly from a carcass. This durable data logger is splashproof and can be used through the entire pasteurization process. The CTL2000 data logger can measure and record data utilizing up to eight thermocouples which can be inserted into different sections of the meat to provide an overall temperature profile. This data logger features a push button or programmable start and status LEDs for process optimization. In addition, if a thermocouple is removed or severed during logging, the software automatically annotates the data. MadgeTech’s CTL2000 can help to reduce and prevent food safety problems, improve quality and ensure that the chances of a recall are minimized.

New ultra low temperature data logger, records temperatures as low as -86°C. The Cryo-Temp can be used in a broad line of applications such as monitoring blood plasma, vaccines, pharmaceuticals, frozen foods and shipping containers. This stand-alone device does not require any additional probes. The enclosure is designed with a handle for easy attachment and is splash proof. It utilizes a USB docking station to communicate with a personal computer. (USB docking station sold separately) The Cryo-Temp provides date and time stamped temperature readings and uses the MadgeTech Data Logger Software. The user can view the data in graphical or tabular form. High and low alarm limits and high and low warning limits can be programmed through the software. The user can set the alarm limits in the range required for the goods to be maintained. The warn limits can be set to alert the user when the temperature is nearing a high or low alarm limit. MadgeTechs Vaccine Temperature Monitoring System (VTMS) is ideal for the continuous measurement and data logging of temperature sensitive vaccines or pharmaceuticals in refrigerators, freezers, and coolers. The system includes a NIST traceable RFTCTemp2000A data logger with thermocouple, Glycol bottle and a power supply. Additionally, the RFTCTemp2000A data logger in the VTMS system has a convenient LCD to ensure temperature parameters are met, in real time. The current reading, minimum, maximum and average statistics can all be obtained through the display. In the real-time chart recording mode the VTMS can alert the user, or other personnel, via e-mail or text message if the refrigerator has failed, or if the temperature is outside of the nominal range. This allows users to take immediate actions to ensure vaccines and pharmaceuticals in storage are not destroyed. To prevent false alarms, the RFTCTemp2000A is connected to a Glycol bottle which provides temperature buffered readings.

The TransiTempII-RH is a stand alone, rugged humidity and temperature data logger. This device is ideal for monitoring and recording the temperature and humidity of products during storage and shipping. No external probes are required to achieve its high performance as both the temperature and humidity sensors are internal to the device. The TransiTempII-RH has a humidity resolution of 0.1% RH and typical accuracy of ±3.5% RH at 25°C. It can record up to 16,383 readings per channel. The TransiTempII-RH is equipped with three status LED red/green/yellow indicators. It can be programmed through software to start immediately, delay start for up to 30 days, or be set to start using the magnetic switch. With the MadgeTech Data Logger software, the data can be displayed with a variety of different configurable options. Users have the ability to view temperature data in degrees Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin or Rankine. Humidity readings can be displayed in %RH, water vapor concentration or even dew point. For additional analysis, data can be easily exported to MS Excel® by simply clicking a button.

No external probes are required to achieve its high performance as both the humidity and temperature sensors are internal to the device. The device can record up to 16,383 readings in its non-volatile memory and coupled with up to a one year battery life, this makes for the perfect temperature and humidity data logger when keeping down costs is paramount. The MadgeTech software includes a full host of features that allow the user to set the start method (i.e. pushbutton, delayed start or immediate start), start date and time, sample rate, high/low alarm limits, 6-character device ID and a 16-character extended ID.
